Smith’s Gallery or “Photo Car” on West Second street is the only gallery in Ottawa that makes 16 pictures for 25 cents. Mr. G. H. Smith came to Ottawa about three years ago, and from his splendid apparatus has produced the likeness of thousands since he began business. Cabinets of the finest platina finish are made for $1.50 per dozen. A specialty, however, with Mr. Smith is view work. Samples of his work indicate that this is a branch of his profession that requires particular study and skill. He has a bird’s eye view of Ottawa that is a perfect pice of work and others too numerous to mention. View work of houses, herds, horses, dogs, turnouts are his specialties. He answers calls anywhere within a reasonable distance. He guarantees satisfaction is every instance.
