SHELDON & WILLIAMS at 123 North Main street are wholesale dealers in fancy groceries, fruits, candies, extracts, tobaccos, teas, etc., supplying retail trade only. This is the only jobbing house of the kind in our city. The present firm of energetic young men succeeded Grimsley & Sheldon about six weeks ago. They are making a commendable effort to give our city a jobbing house worthy of our location, and we are pleased to know that they are making a success. They have a salesman on the road and are building up a good home patronage among merchants. This is as it should be. Upon many articles they save home merchants freight charges, supply superior grades of goods, and as an enterprise in all respects worthy, they should receive the substantial encouragement of our home merchants. We are informed that their patronage is growing and we trust the efforts of these worthy young men will be abundantly rewarded.
