Queen Bee Cigar Factory

QUEEN BEE CIGAR FACTORY, 209 South Main street, is owned and operated by W. E. Lynn. Mr. Lynn probably named this factory from his leading 5 cent cigar called the “Queen Bee” which has become very popular among students in this section. Other favorite brands manufactured here are the “Cuban Planter” and “Ottawa Daily Republican,” named for this paper’s sprightly daily issue. Mr. Lynn is just introducing two new brands, the “Parlamento” and “Red Cross,” on the market. He expects for them a cordial welcome on their merits. Products of this factory are taken by home merchants and neighboring towns. Several hands are employed, the best materials used and no pains is spared in properly shaping all goods, so that when offered the public, there is no doubt of heir genuineness. Mr. Lynn has been a cigar maker 24 years and located in Ottawa the past 13 years. We are pleased to note that he has deservedly prospered and we class him among our leading progressive business young men.
