Ottawa Lager – It may be generally known, and it may not, but if not, now be it known to all lovers of lager, that Ed. Reuter and Co. are manufacturing beer at their brewery on the north side of the river, and beer which is said to be as good as any that is made anywhere. For this we cannot vouch, not having tasted it, and even if we had, not professing to be an expert in the business. But John Walnuff, who knows almost everything, and certainly ought to know about this, deposes and says that Ed Reuter’s beer is “goot”, so if you will drink, our advice is, drink beer; and of course if you drink beer, you know where to find it.
