This market, the home of good meats at 336 Main street, was established in 1908 and at once took its place among the leading institutions in this line in Ottawa; the equipment is modern, their location central and the interior arrangement all that the most fastidious could desire, with every provision for the storage and handling of meats, suggested by the experience of recent years in use. Fresh beef, pork, mutton, home made sausage, etc., is handled; also smoked and dried meats, poultry, fish and game in season. Most of the meat handled at this store is killed by Mr. Ogg and it is owing to the superior quality of goods offered that this large business has been built up. Four employees are required and 1500 square feet of floor space is occupied by the coolers and store proper. Mr. B. F. Ogg was born in Ohio in 1865; he received his education in Kansas and was previously engaged in farming and stock raising. He is a valued member of the M. W. A. and highly esteemed as a successful business man.
