John Nelson’s great house furnishing house, located in Ottawa, contains stocks too large and varieties too numerous, to attempt to describe in a writeup of this kind. He has seven floors filled, packed and stacked with house furnishings of every kind, from a piano to a rolling pin, from a steel range to a teaspoon. He has over 30,000 feet of floor space. Mr. Nelson came to Ottawa without a dollar, commenced business here fourteen years ago and has today one of the largest retail mercantile houses in the state. He is a man of rare business ability, and his success is the result of close attention to business and honest effort.
