Although the clothes do not make the man, they go a long way in his success in the business and social world of today and the man who is neatly dressed commands the most respect. It is therefore necessary that clothes should be made by high class tailors who understand the art of cutting and fitting and those who are skilled in this important branch of the business draws the discriminating trade. Mr. R. F. Hunter, the manager and active head of this establishment, is one of the most proficient men in his line in Ottawa. He has followed this line for the past thirty-five years and is thoroughly versed in all details pertaining to it. The business conducted is exclusively tailoring in the highest sense of the work. A fine line of woolens and fabrics are on hands for the inspection of the public and the most particular can always find just what is wanted when inspecting these lines. The latest fashion plates and New York styles are in evidences and all work turned out is executed with the guarantee of satisfaction at moderate prices. This is one of the finest tailoring shops in this state and has a reputation second to none. A large per cent of the business is from those particular dressers who live in the near by towns. This in itself is proof that only high class work is turned out. Mr. R. F. Hunter, the manager, came west at the age of seventeen years and has been located here since 1900. He is a valued member of the Masons and Elks.
