Dr. W. H. Gilley is one of the oldest and most successful practitioners of medicine in Ottawa. He began practicing in 1872. A partnership formed with Dr. J. Davis continued through twenty-six years of practice, dissolving by mutual consent last June. Dr. Gilley was secretary and treasurer of the Homeopathic Medical Society for a number of years, and its president during 1882 and 1883, and was a member of the pension examining board for years.
