Among the prominent practitioners of Ottawa stands R. S. Black, who occupies offices in Rooms 3 and 4 in the Zellner building. Dr. Black was born in Indiana in 1850. He was educated in Indianapolis and practiced medicine in Indiana for five years prior to locating here. He opened offices here in 1881 and has won a host of friends during that time. He is recognized as one of our leading physicians, practicing medicine and surgery in general and treating chronic ailments of all kinds. He is a member of the I. O. O. F, A. F. & A. M., Thirty Second Degree Scottish Rite Mason and Franklin County Medical Society.
